t took all of Bob Prewett’s passion and drive as an eco-build enthusiast to successfully complete his retrofit of a compact 1960s ‘shoebox’ home for his wife and two children in south London, after years of intermittent progress. The project, in the quiet suburb of Sydenham, London, illustrates how a low energy refurbishment can be effectively executed in stages, een if you may not possess sufficient
