CHAPTER 21 I PASSIVE DESIGN Passive design

Passive design is a general term used to describe a way of designing buildings that uses sunlight  provide space heating, water heating and lighting, passive design uses energy from the sun to do  homes waste a lot of energy in providing a comfortable indoor environment. Creating sustainable homes means shifting from an active to a passive approach.
