Children who have tried new things that they would never had dared to try before, parents who feel their child has grown in confidence since reading the book. It is amazing to think that this book might be making a real difference, however small, to the wellbeing and resilience of young people.”

Now, although Syed is working on a new adult non-fiction book


called Rebel Ideas, about the power of thinking differently and the reasons why we should embrace the ideas of people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience, he is very open to going back to children’s non-fiction: “I would love to write another children’s book. I think Kid Awesome, or maybe some other Kids, might still have a lot to offer.”
