That Missed is already outdoing it, it’s going to be a very Thursday Murder Club summer. Peter James’s Picture You Dead bounced up to second in the Top 50 and the Mass Market Fiction top 20, selling 14,180 copies and leapfrogging Lucinda Riley and Harry Whitaker’s Atlas. The posthu-
mously-published final Seven Sisters title held the Original Fiction number one for a second week,
despite falling a Top 50 place to third. Bonnie Garmus’ Lessons in Chemistry jumped back into the Mass Market Fiction top three, surpassing 200,000 copies sold in total since its publication in March. Kate Dramis’ The Curse of Saints was the highest new entry in Original Fiction. Dramis’ début fantasy title stormed into second place, selling 5,306 copies, with Emily Henry’s Happy Place bouncing into third.
Christopher Paolini’s Fractal Noise, Tan Twan Eng’s The Doors, Jen Beagin’s Big Swiss and Andrea Mara’s No One Saw a Thing made their débuts in the Original Fiction chart.

ita Prose’s The Maid jumped into the Bookstat number one for the week ending 20th May, after two weeks in the chart’s
runner-up spot. C L Taylor’s The Guilty Couple joined it in the top two, pushing Lucinda Riley and Harry Whittaker’s Atlas, the previous week’s number one, into third place. Patricia Wolf’s Paradise, the second title in her
DS Walker series, was the sole new entry, as Paige Toon’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Caroline James’ The Cruise both bounced back upwards. Atlas did navigate into the Publisher E-Book Ranking number one for the week ending 6th May, the same week it claimed the Original Fiction number one through the Nielsen BookScan charts. The final Seven Sisters series title, published after Riley’s death in 2021 and finished by her son, knocked Sally Page’s The Keeper of Stories from the top. Scott Mariani’s The White Knight charged into third place, as Mhairi McFarlane’s Between Us returned in fifth place.
