CHC Announces New Contract with Capricorn Norge to Support Norwegian Sea Drilling Program


CHC Group has been awarded a contract from Capricorn Norge AS to provide helicopter services in support of Capricorn’s forthcoming drilling program at the Lynghaug (PL758) and Godalen (PL842) prospects in the Norwegian Sea.


“We are excited to support Capricorn’s first drilling operation on the Norwegian Continental Shelf,” said Helge Nesvåg, CHC sales director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). “We look forward to working with their team and their project partners at Ross offshore, and showcasing


how our decades of experience will ensure we can make sure we customize the right services and technology to best meet their needs.”


The operation will utilize a Transocean Arctic drilling rig from CHC’s base in Brønnøysund. There will be up to four flights per week using a Sikorsky S-92A.

In addition to the company’s new part sales module, WinAir is introducing a corresponding Part Sales Dashboard gadget for its Dashboards enhancement for WinAir Version 7. “Dashboards” provides aviation operations with the ability to monitor real-time system data in a highly visual manner for instant awareness of current performance. This new Part Sales Dashboard gadget highlights a WinAir client’s top 10 customers with the greatest sales and identifies them by type, which includes whether they are outright or exchange sales.
