Vita Inclinata Equips Cal Fire’s Firehawk Fleet with Advanced Rescue Tech

Vita Inclinata recently announced it deployed 16 Vita Rescue System (VRS) units to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) for its Firehawk fleet to enhance the safety and efficiency of Cal Fire’s aerial firefighting and rescue missions.

The VRS is a state-of-the-art precision- control lifting device designed to eliminate spinning,

swinging, and during hoisting operations.

Equipped with high-torque bi-directional electric propulsion systems and a thrust vectoring system, the VRS measures over 1,000 data points per second to autonomously stabilize loads in challenging environments.

With the Vita Rescue System, Cal Fire’s aerial operations will experience reduced

Zuccaro Land & LIVE Award” for exceptional decision-making skills and artful handling of an in-flight emergency that resulted in a forced-autorotation landing during a routine tour flight. Hobbs detected a critical engine failure, initiated an emergency landing on challenging terrain, and evacuated all passengers without anyone suffering severe injuries.
