Always use a clean drywipe eraser whenever you have finished with the board, many erasers are washable.
Weekly
Ideally every week, or after heavy use, recondition the surface with a proper wet clean using a board cleaner solution.
Monthly
Using a board cleaner solution, give the surface a full wet clean to remove all marks and possible ghosting residue. Buff the surface with a non-abrasive cloth ensuring the surface is fully dry before re-using.
