Prioritising workplace wellbeing Wellbeing in the workplace has never been more important. We want all our employees to feel like they can be supported, and listened to, no matter what stage of their career they are at. We have many frontline workers amongst our workforce and day-to-day they have to deal with more than many face, so it is essential they have the support and care available to them when it is required. We have in place a range of mental


health benefits, which are there for the team as and when needed. These include an employee assistance programme providing psychological and emotional support and advice, online life coaching with Woebot, an online library of support resources with mProve yourself and trained mental health first aiders who are on site to support those who need it. Understanding how your team works,


and wants to work going forward, is also central to wellbeing. Flexibility is at the core of this. There has been discussion of


a false sense of flexibility: are employers just paying lip service to the notion, and not actually making it easy for employees to work flexibly? We need to see real change and this starts with companies giving a renewed focus on workplace wellbeing and flexibility remaining strong. It is important that organisations


support the mental health and wellbeing of employees, and part of this is about encouraging them to take greater ownership of working patterns. Employers need to engage with their staff to determine how best to support them in their personal and professional lives. At Audley, we are committed to


focusing on the future, and consistently engaging with our team members to find how they do, and do not, want to work going forward, and what they want to see from our culture and policies. Our regular listening groups and subject workshops give everyone a chance to vocalise how they are feeling and suggest changes.
