ownership.” With this in mind, Jane Willis, director of arts consultants, Willis Newson, will look, in the ‘Small changes… big impact’ session, at the ‘process, outcomes, and impact’ of engaging service-users in the design of two mental health units – Thames Lodge Medium Secure Unit for West London Mental Health Trust, and St Andrew’s Healthcare’s FitzRoy House, the largest residential mental health facility for adolescents within Europe.

The Design in Mental Health Dinner & Awards will take place on the evening of 17 May at the National Conference Centre. This year’s after- dinner speaker – courtesy of Knightsbridge Furniture – will be former WBC heavyweight champion, Frank Bruno MBE. James Lee said: “The awards are an excellent opportunity to network with other delegates and exhibitors, and to continue discussing the day’s topics.” The black tie event starts with welcome drinks at 7.30 pm in the Imperial & Trafalgar Suite at the National Conference Centre.
