patient pathway Extending its history with the NHS bowel screening programmes, ALPHA LABORATORIES is closely involved with transition to the more sensitive and specific faecal immunochemical testing (FIT) method for screening. In addition, it is actively working with NICE to incorporate FIT into the pathway for patients with suspected lower GI cancer. A number of hospitals in the UK are already using the HM-JACKarc FIT system, as an effective

Custom-made

method of reducing colonoscopy referrals. The BÜHLMANN Quantum Blue rapid Anti-TNF drug monitoring assays can also enable tailored therapy.

Continuous monitoring, uninterrupted surveillance

Pick and Go is DRÄGER’s patented technology which enables Infinity bedside monitors to double up as transport monitors

within the hospital. Pick and Go allows caregivers to assign an Infinity monitor to a patient at the point of hospital entry and remain with that patient throughout their care journey. Simply pick up the monitor and go to the patient’s next destination. Infinity monitors provide seamless wired-

to-wireless networking for uninterrupted surveillance and all parameters that were monitored at the bedside can continue to be monitored during transport. Stored patient data also follows the patient resulting in a complete record at the end of their journey.

When was the last time you cleaned your screen? The use of tablets and touchscreens in

healthcare is increasing, and a compatible touch-screen cleaner that works at the speed of technology has been launched by PDI. Featuring the cleaning power of 70% Isopropyl

Alcohol, Easy Screen disposable wipes rapidly clean dirt, grime, fingerprints and smudges due to alcohol’s ability to dissolve oils. The anti-fogging, anti- streaking wipes are fast drying, and leave no residue. Easy Screen wipes are compatible with a variety of devices that have touchscreens and, with a safe pH level, are compatible with many types of glass.
