Premium early delegate rate for Manchester conference
As part of its mission to make its flagship annual event as inclusive as possible, both for its members and everyone from the healthcare EFM community, IHEEM has announced a new Premium Early Discount rate for Conference passes for Healthcare Estates 2023. The Premium Early
Discount is available until 30 March, and provides a discount of up to 32% from the standard rate for IHEEM members. Non-members can also secure a substantial discount (of up to 22%) by booking by 30 March.
Outstanding response to Call for Presentations The Call for Presentations for this year’s Conference closed on 6 February, with a huge number of submissions to speak, reflecting the high level of interest in the five new themes at this year’s event: n Health & Social Care Planning. n Governance, Assurance & Compliance of the Healthcare Estates & Infrastructure.
n Implementing Digital Technology & Innovation into the Healthcare Estate.
n Medical Engineering & Healthcare Engineering.
n Operational Delivery of the Healthcare Estate.
IHEEM also welcomed submissions for presentations on how the future workforce can be developed in relation to capability and capacity to support the delivery of the five key themes above. The IHEEM Conference Committee
is now reviewing the submissions, and is in the process of building the overall Conference programme, which will feature a keynote session to complement each of the five themes. The Healthcare Estates website,
www.healthcare-estates. com, will be continually updated with news about the papers as they are added to the programme, and will also help anyone looking to take advantage of the Premium Early Discount.
New exhibitors confirmed The exhibition at Healthcare Estates is set to be the most comprehensive ever, with over 20 new exhibitors already confirmed, in addition to the many dozens of

expansion of its already extensive offerings for HVAC, Modular Buildings, Water Treatment, and Architects, with multiple new suppliers for each section. The exhibition is free to attend, and also
features five theatres providing useful content on key areas for providing high- quality, patient-centred, environments: n HVAC & Engineering. n Infection Control & Water. n Design & Construction. n Energy & Sustainability. n Facilities Management.
‘Exclusive’ Members’ Lounge returns Following the success of this feature in 2022, IHEEM is once again inviting Members to take advantage of its exclusive IHEEM Members’ Lounge, which offers an informal space to network, discuss the issues of the day, and take some refreshment. It also provides the opportunity to see the work that the Institute is undertaking, and to meet the IHEEM Head Office team, IHEEM Council, and the many others who directly support the Institute. Exhibitors, delegates, and all visitors to Healthcare Estates, will be able to learn about the benefits of the many categories of IHEEM membership on offer; they will find the IHEEM Team and the Members’ Lounge next to the Keynote Theatre.
