IHEEM publishes 2020 Annual Report

Following the publication of its Five-Year Business Plan last year, the recently unveiled IHEEM 2020 Annual Report sets out the Institute’s activities over the past 12 months, as well as outlining some of its plans for the forthcoming year. The 23-page report highlights a number of key achievements during the past year, including: n IHEEM’s response to COVID-19. n The 2020 Healthcare Estates online event in October.

n The new and improved IHEEM website.

n Partnership with a CPD certification body.

n Development of a new Knowledge Portal and Learning Hub.

n IT infrastructure modernisation. n Developing the Future Leaders programme, including STEM and apprenticeship initiatives.

It also provides details of the work undertaken by the Institute’s Regional Branches and Technical Platforms,

as well as the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group.

Pete Sellars, CEO of IHEEM, said: “When I became CEO of IHEEM it was always my intention to provide our members with an annual report that showcased our activities, and clearly illustrated how we are meeting our commitment to improve the offer to our members. Despite the challenges faced by COVID-19, we have successfully delivered on a number of our planned milestones. This report, endorsed by our President and Council, gives me great confidence for 2021 and beyond, as we continue to deliver the priorities and commitments we set out in the Five-Year Business Plan. Development of our business priorities for 2021 began at the end of last year, and will be discussed and ratified by Council at an online Strategic Planning meeting next month.” The report is available as an ebook at: https://www.iheem.org.uk/wp-content/ uploads/2020/11/IHEEM_Annual-Report- 2020_e-book.pdf
