Korozo, founded in 1973, exports flexible packaging and film products to around 75 countries worldwide. It supplies both the food and non-food sectors. It owns a subsidiary in Belgium – Vitra – and has sales and distribution offices in the UK, Germany, France.
Product lines:
The company specialises in flexible packaging, which it supplies to multiple end markets. Nearly half of its output is flexible packaging for food, while around one-third is for non-food applications. Film for hygiene products – such as backsheets, frontal tapes and side tapes for baby diapers – accounts around 13%. Its Koroplast division for ‘kitchen consumables’ including garbage bags and freezer bags, makes up around 9% of the business. In Belgium, Vitra specialises in converting thin film for packaging applications – and also has extensive printing facilities.
Factory locations:
Korozo has nine locations – in Turkey and across Europe – with a combined production capacity of 137,000 tonnes/year spread across more than 200,000 sq m. In Turkey, it has four production plants (in Kirac, Corlu, Cerkezkoy and Izmir), plus its Vitrapack plant in Belgium.
