Baosu Pipe Industry is a specialist in biaxially oriented PVC (PVC-O) pipe. The company also makes other pipe products, in materials including PVC, and various types of polyethylene (PE). Its products are used in applications ranging from water supply and drip irrigation to oil transport and gas supply.
Product lines:
The company’s main product line is its Taiji Blue range of PVC-O pipe, which is available in sizes from 110 to 630mm, and pressures of 10-25 bar. TaijiBlue 315 is used to make pipes for drinking water supply and agriculture irrigation, and is made according to ISO 16422-2014. The company also offers its 500 and 600 series. Its other products include PE pipe – and fittings – for water supply, which are made on machines from Battenfeld-Cincinnati. It also makes regular PVC pipe, for applications including drainage, irrigation and transport. It also makes three-layer PE100 pipe with increased toughness.
Factory location:
All of Baosu’s products are made at its plant in Baoding City in Hebei Province. It recently signed a cooperation deal with KraussMaffei Berstorff of Germany. The two companies – which have collaborated since the 1980s – will team up in the field of PVC-O pipe. Baosu has developed a special stretching technology to produce its pipe. Now, to respond more quickly to customer demands, Baosu will install a system based on KraussMaffei’s twin-screw extruder that will be used for demonstration purposes. These Taiji Blue pipes will be used mainly for wastewater and drinking water supply.
