Shell Chemicals is to build a 50,000 tonnes/year unit at its Moerdijk site in the Netherlands to upgrade pyrolysis oil to make it suitable for use as a feedstock. The new plant is due onstream in 2024 and is part of Shell’s plans to transition the Moerdijk site to circular and bio-based feedstocks.

Yangzhou facility will be marketed by Sinochem Engineering Plastics under the Elix brand. �

LehVoss invests in Hamburg
