Targeting PC/ABS alloys in automotive interiors and housings, CAI’s ST-4210 acts as a high-efficiency compatibiliser and interface agent, especially in GF-reinforced ABS. It improves interfacial adhesion, mechanical performance, and dimensional stability. Already adopted by major EV OEMs in China, ST-4210 has demonstrated: notched impact strength (110.5 J/m compared with 75.1 J/m); flexural strength and modulus; control of odour and VOC emissions in finished parts. The additive also contributes to better processability in complex mold designs without compromising appearance or performance, said the company. CAI has also expanded its VOC and odour
removal masterbatches with LDV 8010, a porous ABS-based additive designed for PC/ABS and ABS systems. Already proven in automotive interior applications, especially EVs, it effectively removes VOCs without impacting mechanical or visual
performance, and supports typical loadings between 0.5% and 2.0%. For polyolefin systems, LDV-1035T delivers powerful deodorisation in PP, TPO, and talc-filled compounds, including recycled grades. It is ideal for use in automotive trim, under-hood applications, and recycled resins where odour control and emission reduction are critical.
