Profile: Compounding Solutions started out in 1999, quickly making a name for itself in production of medical compounds and concentrates. By 2004 it had doubled in size and the company has seen ongoing steady growth since. Investments underway this year will see floorspace expand to 5,500m2


and


the number of extrusion lines grow from 13 to 21. Facilities include a 600m2 Class 100,000 clean room for medical compounding, 300m2 fluoropolymers, and a 750m2


white room for industrial compounding operation.


Product line: The Compounding Solutions’ product line includes masterbatch (concentrates) for frictional modification, radio-opacity and colouring of medical polymers. The company also offers an extensive range of medical TPEs.


Product strengths: Compounding Solutions is focused on the regulatory needs of the medical industry. All medical concentrates, for example, are manufactured within an environmentally controlled white room certified to ISO13485 quality standard.
