Welcome to The Atmosphere

MARIN opened a unique multi-purpose testing facility, which enables clients to carry out fundamental research, product development and process optimisation. The Atmosphere (ATM) was officially inaugurated October 19 by Eppo Bruins (Member of Parliament for the ChristenUnie) together with Bas Buchner (President MARIN). The online opening was accompanied by a virtual tour of the facility.

The Atmosphere provides a precisely controlled environment. We can independently control the pressure, temperature, humidity and gas composition, as well as flows of liquid and gas, to generate the ideal conditions for your research into sustainable solutions.

Being partially funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), this facility is open to a broad range of sectors and those involved in NWO-funded projects only have to pay the operational costs.

We can help you develop your test set-up and testing programme and by using rapid modelling and advanced simulation tools, our experts can help you interpret the results and present them in accordance to any required standards.

If you have an idea for a fundamental research project, need a proof of concept or require a better understanding of your processes please get in touch with us at atmospheren@marin.nl We are happy to welcome you, your technical experts and other interested parties for virtual and live tours of the facility. https://vimeo.com/472170312
