Mushroom symposium in Estonia


On 24 January a mushroom symposium was held in Tartu, at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Mushrooms have gained more and more spotlight in Estonia, but at the same time, misleading rumors abound about how easy it is to cultivate them. Thanks to Maidu Silm, the Estonian University of Life Sciences - ASTRA project (‘Value-chain based bio-economy 2’), and EU funding, it was made possible to bring mushroom specialists together in Estonia.
