Middle School Student Killed At Bus Stop in Georgia

This is beyond sad. Bless her heart. Killed over nonsense. As a bus driver we see so much violence and out-of-control kids. It’s getting worse. Now, elementary kids are way out of control. Parents, please, please correct your kids. I do have some great kids on my middle and high school routes. My elementary, I drive 58. I have an aide. -Facebook/Sandra Clark Hall
I would like to extend my condolences to the family. ... What I am baffled by is the level of leniency kids receive nowadays. I see this trend when I transport students to and from school. Discipline has been taken out of the equation. I’m disgusted!!!! - LinkedIn/Jeriullah Chaudhry, School Bus Driver for First Student

I think they are great. Everyone knows if the students are on the bus. The school district can check the attendance instead of calling the driver. - Facebook/ Gerald Riggar
My district has them. They work, some kids misplace them, but they usually find them and if not they can get a replacement. Middle School is when they are charged after the second one. They scan when they get on the bus in the morning, they scan when they get off at the school. And again at end of day, on the bus and off at stop. Parents track their kids that way too. - Facebook/Kristin Herzfeld Shafer
