a commercial driver’s license (CDL) will have to complete more training and academ- ic requirements to meet nationwide training and safety standards. All school districts must document that their new drivers have met and completed


federally man- dated regulations starting this month. In addition to


completing the federal behind-the- wheel training and classroom training, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on Feb. 7 was set to require students pursuing these
