School bus safety is set to see a dramatic improvement as two dedicated school districts team up with First Light Safety Products (FLSP). Committed to the well-being of their students, Liverpool Central School District and Alachua County Public Schools have chosen to onboard our revolutionary safety technology in their school bus fleets. This initiative, strategically led by Dr. Don Rowls and Sean Brown, aims to integrate our cutting-edge Fully Illuminated School Bus Sign and the Fully Illuminated Stop Arm across all their buses. FLSP salutes their foresight and commitment, paving the way for a safer commute starting with 2024’s new bus editions. By enhancing visibility, extending driver’s response time, and curtailing stop arm violations, we can ensure heightened security for students during their entire bus ride.
First Light Safety thanks Dr. Don Rowls and the Alachua County Public
commitment to safeguarding the welfare of every student.
“Implementing the First Light safety product in our school bus transportation system has heightened our awareness of lighting visualization, ensuring optimal safety for students. By providing enhanced visibility along bus routes, this innovative technology enables us to identify potential risks and respond proactively. With First Light, we’re not just illuminating pathways; we’re illuminating a brighter, safer future for our students and communities.’

“It’s all about safety, the reason we continue to add these to our buses is because it makes the bus safer and gives people more time to see it.”
