This exhibition at the Epcot American Heritage Gallery at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is made possible through the collaboration of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the National Museum of the American Indian.


NATIVE ART MARKET 2019 Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The museum presents works for purchase by some of the most talented Indigenous artists of the Americas. From fine jewelry to textiles, clothing, paintings, sculpture, photography and more, the Native Art Market offers pa- trons a wide assortment of exceptional pieces to collect or gift just in time for the holidays.


WINTER BLAST: A FAMILY DAY OF NATIVE GAMES Saturday, January 25 10:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Learn to play Indigenous games from the Arctic to Argentina and beyond. Join Talibah Begay (Navajo) as she shares a traditional Navajo shoe guessing game, Leihua Stewart (Native Hawaiian) shares Hawaiian games and Julia Garcia (Aymara) introduces Bolivian games.

INKA ROAD FOOD FIESTA Friday, February 21 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Explore the foods found in communities that live along the Inka Road of South America. Freddie Bitsoie (Diné), executive chef of the Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe, and other guest chefs will share the stories and food traditions that sustained—and continue to support—the diverse peoples of the intricate road system. Enjoy Andean music between tastings and enjoy tours of the museum’s “The Great Inka Road” exhibition.
