What’s the best airport in the world, and why? Changi Airport, I may be biased, but nothing beats the adult-sized jungle gym.

How did you get into airfreight/logistics? Wanted to move to Singapore, and I found Belli through LinkedIn.


What quote has most resonated with you? Shoot for the moon; if you miss, you will die in outer space, which is cool.


What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Document everything.

Asael Jalocha is a product engineer at Belli, a startup developing air cargo software for airlines. Originally from Chile and now based in Singapore, she combines a passion for aviation with a technical mindset, working at the intersection of technology and airfreight innovation.


What was your dream job as a child? I actually wanted to be a flight stewardess because they get to fly a lot and I love their uniforms. I do get to fly a lot for the job now, and our uniform is fun, so it feels like a win to me.


What’s the biggest change you’ve seen in the industry? Those trackers demo’d by Etihad recently.


What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever shipped? Labubu.


What’s one buzzword you secretly dislike? Let’s “circle back”, though it’s not really a secret.


Window or aisle seat? Window, of course.


What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done? I’ve gone ziplining in the Costa Rican rainforest a bunch of times, and it’s always exciting to be able to see the nature from above.


If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would it be and why? Jennifer Coolidge, Selena Quintanilla and Lady Di, just a table full of divas.


What’s something we wouldn’t know about you from your CV? I did gymnastics as a child.
