Dr. Lindsay Whaley is widely recognized as one of the foremost experts in the world on language death and revitalization. Dr. Whaley will share his knowledge on the languages of the Pacific, what they tell us about how the islands were populated and the unique cultural challenges that they present.

Dr. Charles Urbanowicz has traveled the Pacific for over 50 years, is a published author on the topic of anthropology and tourism and conducts ongoing research on the cultures of the Pacific, as well as World War II. Recognized as a "master teacher," Dr. Urbanowicz will share his experiences and his vast knowledge on the anthropology of Oceania.
