THE SHOW MUST GO ON…

The Health & Safety Event returns in 2021 with an exhibition to help guide the industry through a working world transformed by the recent pandemic.

The Health and Safety Event will return to the NEC Birmingham on 27-29 April 2021 and is the first major exhibition confirmed for the 2021 event calendar. With health and safety on top of the agenda for many organisations, it is even more critical for the industry to come together and develop a road map, during and post-COVID to navigate the new health and safety landscape.

With a focus on promoting and improving health and safety standards, the event will shine a spotlight on the immediate and long-term impacts of COVID-19, offering strategic insight and practical response to help facilitate health and safety professionals in developing effective interventions and actions required in this rapidly evolving situation.

Supported by industry leading bodies including AIF, BOHS, HSE, Energy Institute, NEBOSH, UKATA, IOSH to mention a few, British Safety Council will also be returning to deliver their conference to help raise the standard in health and safety management. With 150+ hours of expert-led and CPD-accredited content, the agenda will be packed with practical guidance, support and advice so delegates can come away with the tools they need to implement in their own workplace.

NEW FOR 2021 With confirmed exhibitors including Access, Besafe,

Beeswift, Diadora, Deltaplus, DuPont, Ergomat, Evaccess, Specsavers, Southalls, Toyota Materials Handling, Polyco Healthcare, Uvex and more. The large-scale expo floor has been revamped and edited to make way for even more new features, zones and networking opportunities.

The Machinery Safety Zone, supported by Premier Partners Pilz UK, Machine Safety and Turck Banner will showcase the latest technologies and solutions around this vitally important area of the workplace and will

also offer specially curated CPD-accredited content. It will cover many aspects of machinery safety including guarding, risk assessments, training, digitalisation, robotics and automation, and safety sensors.

Another new feature is the Professional Development Zone, sponsored by HSE Recruitment Network. It will offer expert advice to advance your career and support future growth as a health and safety professional. Within this interactive zone, you will also have the chance to see live onstage interviews and content sessions on personal branding, psychometric profiling and developing a modern and engaged safety culture.

The British Safety Industry Federation will also be hosting a networking lounge that offers the opportunity to learn about procuring PPE from reputable Registered Safety Suppliers and see demonstrations of quality control and testing.

CO-LOCATED EVENTS For the first time ever, the event will also be co-

located with The Emergency Services Show and Maintec, bringing together the entire community dedicated to improving workplace safety standards. Visitors will be able to maximise their time and explore the adjacent halls to discover other safety products and solutions and attend seminar topics such as health and wellbeing, emerging technologies and digital transformation.

United all under one roof, The Safety and Security Series (The Health and Safety Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Facilities Event and The Security Event) and its latest additions The Emergency Services Show and Maintec will be the most comprehensive offering from event organisers Nineteen Group.
