One of the problems encountered within industrial plants is the danger occurred by openings in the floor of gateways or platforms. These openings can be reached with fixed ladders when climbing or descending.
In order to avoid accidents of people falling through, Coutier Industrie has designed a trapdoor made of fiberglass grating including a self-closing device which enables to secure the facility. The operator doesn’t need to check the position of the trapdoor when climbing or descending and can pass through in all tranquility.
