INFECTION PROTECTION PROVIDES CORONAVIRUS-KILLING
PPE TREATMENT A new British company, which sells a unique chemical treatment that kills coronaviruses (229E) and is designed to be applied to personal protective equipment (PPE) at point of manufacture, has launched its website.
Infection Protection Ltd was established specifically to market HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03, an anti-viral textile additive manufactured by HeiQ Materials AG, a Swiss company that specialises in advanced textile technologies. It works with all fibre types and is especially suitable for non-woven textiles used in respirator masks, gowns, scrubs and other PPE.
The company has launched its website at and is now fully set up to take orders from PPE and textile manufacturers who supply products to end-users in frontline services, including doctors and nurses in the healthcare sector, care homes, first responders and other key public services, so that they can be given the very best protection against COVID-19.
HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 significantly reduces viral activity on garment surfaces, dramatically lowering the opportunities for transmission of the virus from one garment to another, or from the textiles on one wearer to those of any other person nearby, or to any other surface.
The antiviral efficacy of HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 has been proved with an extensive series of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Tests performed by accredited Microbiotest (a division of Microbac Laboratories) against a broad set of viruses. Infection Protection Ltd is happy to make the single test reports available under NDA to partners.
