Hello and welcome to the January 2026 issue of Tomorrow’s FM.

First off, a very happy new year to all our readers. There’s plenty on the agenda for Tomorrow’s FM in 2026. We have a new editorial calendar, some fresh faces delivering the quality insight you’re used to, and we will continue to deliver the best content for the FM industry. We do hope you enjoy all the things we have planned and stick with us throughout the year. It promises to be a good one.

In this issue, we take an in depth look at the Construction & BIM sector with Andrew Kitley, Founder and CEO of structural engineering consultancy, Kitall, looking at how technical innovation is shaping the future of UK construction and Dr Stuart Kings, NEC (New Engineering Contract) author and Technical Director at Sypro, explaining why formalised communications matter on construction projects.

For our Flooring spotlight, we hear from Forbo Flooring Systems, who takes a deep dive into entrance flooring. Entrance flooring is well known for its functional uses, reducing walked-in dirt and moisture, protecting against slips and trips, and keeping wider internal flooring schemes clean. However, it can also deliver much more than that, argues Chris Rand, Category Marketing Manager – EFS.

We also have a product focus feature on Robotics, featuring Robert Scott and ICE, whilst DMA Group and Tork head up our Healthcare and Hospital Facilities feature.

There’s plenty in the following pages to get you through what can be a challenging month for many. We wish you all the best for the 12 months ahead, and a very happy new year.

Enjoy the read.
