In a sector defined by compassion, personal connection and the ever-present challenge of doing more with less, innovation is not an optional extra; it is essential. The pressures facing home care providers are intense: workforce shortages, rising regulatory expectations, increasing administrative burden, and higher expectations around quality and outcomes for people receiving support. For context, Skills for Care’s State of the Adult Social Care Sector and Workforce in England 2024/25 report highlighted persistent staff shortages and an estimated 111,000 vacant posts, underscoring ongoing workforce pressures in the sector.
