2020 has quickly gone from a promising start to a new decade, to an
unprecedented and gloomy worldwide lockdown. Although the whole situation has been very unfortunate, the importance of cleaning has never been clearer.
Our industry is going to play a vital part in ensuring businesses can get back on track and ensure the safety of employees and customers alike.
In our Technology feature this issue, Essity's Liam Smith looks into the role that technology should play in the cleaning and hygiene sectors, and asks if
there should be limits to its scope. Also, Jamie Woodhall from Initial Washroom Hygiene discusses with us the specialist equipment and tech that can ensure cleanliness for us all.
In our Contract Cleaning feature, we hear from Facilicom UK and Ireland’s Jan- Hein Hemke explains why it’s vital that the wellbeing of colleagues has to come
