THE CORD Dancing with Duplex is now even easier thanks to their new arrival. The Duplex 380B Turbo has been developed from the remarkably successful Duplex range of floor cleaning machines.


When development engineers were asked to design a battery-powered 380mm wide unit, they were given one brief: make sure it has the same cleaning capability as the rest of the range but with at least one added innovation.


The engineers came up with a winner: from wall to wall and into the tightest corners, the Duplex 380B Turbo is ideal for daily maintenance or deep cleaning.


Whilst the Duplex steam machines are unique in the market, the 380B is also unique in its own right; there is nothing else on the market that is battery operated, sweeps and scrubs all hard floors, dries with two different systems and cleans and dries carpets.

FROM MAKITA The new Makita DCL182Z 18v LXT Vacuum Cleaner is compact, cordless and suitable for use with cloth or paper bags. Producing 30w of suction power with a maximum airflow of 1.0m³ per minute, the DCL182Z has a maximum sealed suction of 4.0kPa.


The rubberised ergonomic grip handle features a touch button where you can select high or low suction power settings. The 18v battery gives 20 minutes of run time in high mode and 40 minutes in low mode with a 3.0Ah battery.


By simply pushing a button, the front cover will open for easy dust bag change. Dust bag capacity is 500ml with a cloth dust bag, alternatively 330ml with a paper dust bag.
