WATER IS NO MATCH FOR THIS WOOD


Almost everyone loves a natural wood floor, but not everyone loves the worry when their new wood floor comes close to water. Worries like these may once have seen other flooring options win through, but that need not be the case any longer thanks to Quick-Step and its waterproof wood ranges. The Quick-Step Amato, Cascada and Cala wood floor collections are 100% waterproof. Protected with the Hydroseal water repellent coating, water can stay on these floors for up to 72 hours without causing damage – plenty of time to mop up any spills. What’s more, the precision milled Uniclic Mulitfit joint makes it impossible for water to seep through the joints.

Dave joined Kemtile in 2019 as a contracts manager; bringing in-depth knowledge of high-performance resin flooring, tiled surfaces, and stainless-steel drainage installations.


One of Kemtile’s most experienced account managers, Dave Sleight has been promoted to the role of key account manager.


With an impressive 40 years’ experience in the construction and specialist flooring industry, Dave has a proven track record of building long-standing customer relationships and delivering practical,

In his new role, Dave will work closely with key customers to ensure continuity, consistency, and champion the benefits of strong partnerships.

In late 2025 Dave was asked to join the board at FeRFA, the Resin Flooring Association. He said: “I have been involved with companies that are FeRFA members throughout my entire career and it’s a real honour to be invited onto the board of FeRFA and being in a position to be able to support our industry with my knowledge and experience”.
