NORCROS ADHESIVES STRENGTHENS OFFERING WITH NEW
ADI FLEX S2 ADDITIVE Manufacturer of preparation, fixing and finishing products for tiling and flooring installation, Norcros Adhesives has announced the launch of Norcros Adi Flex S2 Additive, a polymer liquid adhesive enhancer.
This is a strategic addition to the Norcros Adhesives product range which can be added to an S1-classified cementitious adhesive to bring it up to the performance specifications of an S2 adhesive. S2 adhesives can be used where a deformability of greater than 5mm is required.
Norcros Adi Flex S2 Additive is used instead of water in the mix and gives the fixer or contractor the maximum flexibility in the choice of tile adhesive. In areas where the performance of an S2 adhesive is specified, an S1 adhesive is simply mixed with Norcros Adi Flex S2 Additive.
Adhesive mixed with Norcros Adi Flex S2 Additive is suitable for both internal and external applications and can be used on virtually all substrates. These include cement/sand renders and screeds, anhydrite screeds, heated floors, timber floors and tile backerboards. It is also suitable for use in wetrooms and areas of total immersion.
Norcros Adi Flex S2 Additive is supplied in a six-litre bottle to be mixed with a 20kg bag of Norcros S1 adhesive.

TILEMASTER INTRODUCES NEW HIGH TEMPERATURE
FLOORING ADHESIVE Tilemaster Adhesives have extended their range of professional flooring products with the introduction of a new universal high-temperature flooring adhesive. Tilemaster Eco-3000 is suitable for installing LVT, PVC, vinyl and rubber flooring as well as carpet, textiles and uncoupling membranes onto a wide variety of substrates.
The new adhesive has been formulated to be solvent-free with very low VOC emissions, having achieved the rating of EMICODE EC1 Plus, and has been specially developed to provide excellent
adhesion properties curing to a hard set with a high bond strength.
Tilemaster Eco-3000 is ideal for use over underfloor heating systems and in conservatories, as well as other buildings with large expanses of glass where direct sunlight may heat the floor. Tilemaster Eco-3000 has also been formulated with the installer in mind, with a fast tacking- off time. Flooring can be installed after as little as 10 minutes, when the adhesive is semi-tacked off and has reached its ‘anti-slide’ state. Full tacking off takes 40 minutes and the floor is ready for light foot traffic after 12 hours.
