PRO-TEK INTRODUCES R11 SLIP FINISH TO WPC

SCANDI–LOOK New light absorbing, Nordic-inspired ultra matt wood floor designs join the Kährs range.
Following the successful launch last year of the Kährs Lux and Lumen ultra matt lacquer flooring collections, the European flooring manufacturer has now introduced four brand-new, Nordic- inspired whitewashed and grey toned ultra matt designs to their range.
Now available in the Lumen Collection is a selection of new three-strip and two- strip ash designs with the popular ultra matt surface treatment, ranging from warm white Drift and soft white Ardor, to stone grey Ash Verve.
Joining Kährs’ calmest collection of wood floors, the Capital Collection, is Oak Prague – a plank style floor with greyish notes throughout and finished with the ultra matt surface treatment.

All floors feature Kährs' multi-layered construction, with a surface layer of oak or ash. This sustainable engineered format makes the floor more stable than traditional solid wood flooring, and is also ideal for use with underfloor heating systems. Matching accessories, including mouldings, skirting and handmade stairnosing are also available for the new designs.

EXCEL COLLECTION PRO-TEK has introduced a new slip- resistant surface treatment to seven WPC floors across its Excel range. Each of the engineered vinyl floors now offers a R11 slip rating, offering even greater scope for commercial specification. PRO-TEK WPC also provides waterproof and acoustic features, as well as installation benefits for fast-track installation.
Offered in 40 wood and tile-effects, PRO-TEK WPC combines an LVT surface finish with an integral waterproof core and premium IXPE foam underlay base. Its middle core, which is made from WPC (wood plastic composite), is 100% waterproof and has a glueless locking joint. This integral construction maximises the floor’s versatility, reduces the amount of floor preparation required and speeds installation. It also eliminates ‘telegraphing’ – where subfloor distortion can mirror to the floor surface - and provides acoustic impact sound performance up to 24db.
PRO-TEK WPC Excel plank designs have an authentic, textured wood- effect finish, in colours spanning from ivory, through grey and honey shades, to rich-toned walnut and mocha decors. All floors can be installed in all settings – including bathrooms, basements and over wet underfloor heating. They are offered alongside matching accessories and all materials used are phthalate-free and 100% recyclable.
