When the vintage machine arrived with Paul Bacon, owner at Cambridgeshire Sand & Gravel and was dragged off the low-loader in a bent mess his family thought that he’d taken on more than he bargained for. With his engineering background, some savvy part hunting and a lot of hard work and late nights, the 1973 wheel loader is now almost fully restored and has been put to work in the family business.
