SHOW PREVIEW

Rail event moves to the Olympia

Infrarail 2020 pulls into Olympia, London for the first time from the 12th to 14th May. This year, The Railway Industry Association (RIA) has partnered with organisers Mack Brooks to offer a new dedicated space for its members, a new business forum for Tier 1 suppliers to talk about recent projects and a special area for smaller companies. Darren Caplan, Chief Executive

of the RIA, says: “For the first time ever, we’re offering a new RIA Pavilion where smaller companies and individuals that are new to Infrarail can exhibit at corner stands, thereby offering a cost-effective way for these organisations to promote themselves and to see the value Infrarail provides.”

Over 80 companies have

already booked stands, including the Signalling Innovations Group at Network Rail. SIG’s participation at the show is important as digital signalling and traffic management systems play a key role in resolving capacity problems on the current network. Digital technology is also at the heart of the Rail Sector Deal. There are many other leading

exhibitors due at the show, including level crossing systems provider Rosehill Rail and rail infrastructure provider Cubis Systems, supplier to Network Rail and the London underground. PACE Networks will showcase

its latest developments in electrification, infrastructure

and power. Manufacturing company Cembre will present much needed machinery to secure track maintenance. Civil engineering experts Scott Parnell will be there too, showing how to make rail maintenance safer, with its latest range of elevated cable management systems.
