EC World will once again bring together the composites community in Paris between 5-7 March, featuring the latest
innovations and technological developments in composites. This year, the exhibition will offer attendees hundreds of product launches, awards ceremonies, start-up competitions, conferences, live demonstrations, ‘Innovation Planets’, and networking opportunities. This year’s event builds on a successful outing in 2023 for the show, which provided a platform for more than 1,200 exhibitors to showcase their products and technologies across almost 73,000 square metres of show floor. Over 40,000 visitors descended upon the trade show floor, with 106 companies represented across the duration of the event. Ongoing technological innovation within the realm of composites, from thermoplastics and thermosets to glass fibre to carbon fibre., and advances in high-tech simulation, optimisation and production techniques, are enabling composites to offer an ever-broader arena of applications. raw materials, intermediate products and tools and ancillary products, to composite parts producers, service providers and end-users and integrators. Composite materials are becoming more and more integrated into various application industries and naturally, the exhibition reaches in to many of these relevant sectors. Some examples include:
automotive, aerospace, building and civil engineering, defence, electronics, maritime transportation, medical, oil and gas, rail vehicles and infrastructure, renewable energy, and equipment and machinery. In addition to the exhibition halls,
the show’s comprehensive conference programme will give attendees the opportunity to discuss and address the main challenges and key trends currently shaping to future of the global composites sector. Leading executives and engineers will share their insights into key topics within the industry, from highlighting new markets around the world to analysing new materials, products and processes. Meanwhile, the show’s Innovation
Planets showcase area will present the latest composite innovations in two areas: mobility and building and infrastructure. Elsewhere, the show’s Innovation Awards will celebrate the most successful and innovative collaborative projects in composites.
