Flying Eagle Kombucha—A Different Kind of Craft Brew

lying Eagle Kombucha, SWFL’s first kom- bucha brewery and tap room, uses healthy,
gut-friendly microbes and plants as alternative medicine to create a sparkling, uplifting bever- age. When founder Maddy Eagle realized her then-home-brewed kombucha was a remedy for her own digestive imbalance and that the drink made her feel healthier and more energetic in general, she wanted to share the bubbly beverage with others. The brewery went commercial in 2018 and
after being mobile for two years, FEK opened a non-alcoholic kombucha bar inside of downtown Fort Myers’ Millennial Brewing Company. Flying Eagle helped inspire a spirit-free cocktail bar, The Apothecary, in the brewery as well. N/A drinks in a brewery?! Absolutely, your sober friends want great options for their brewery ex- perience, too! Try a flight of five kombuchas, the “champagne-style” Elderflower served in a flute, and a beautifully crafted, non-alcoholic cocktail from The Apothecary. Flying Eagle Kombucha is a light, dry, bubbly
drink, fermented in large vessels with organic teas and botanicals for serotonin-boosting prop- erties, and organic or local fruit. The kombucha brewery also features seasonal brews for their Community Garden benefit program.
