Welcome to the Summer edition of Outside Comfort Zone. Inside we have a collection of stories that bring you the latest in new ideas and interesting applications to help your next outside weather protection project.


One of the main features demonstrates the flexibility of our Coniston canopy. We affectionally refer to this as the King of Canopies, due to its popularity and ability to be used in all manner of installations. This example shows how it lives up to that billing. We have also included a roundup of bespoke fixing innovations and the power of effective colour co-ordination. We hope you enjoy this issue and that it informs future plans and specifications.


The Power of Colour


It is easy to overlook the role that colour can play in a canopy installation. Because white works pretty much with everything it is an obvious and cost-effective choice. These images show what can be achieved. The stylish Basalt Grey works brilliantly with the rest of the buildings and


creates a co-ordinated look that allows the canopies to become part of the overall structure.


The canopies covered two walkways on the school grounds and created a stunning entrance canopy.
