MacArtney Strengthens Its Sales Focus in the UK and Ireland
MacArtney UK are pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Murray as new Head of Sales.
Kevin will work closely with Managing Director, Phil Middleton, in the strategic leadership of sales activity within the business and will contribute towards the ambitious plans for growth. Kevin Murray has extensive sales and business development experience in energy hubs throughout the globe. His new position as Head of Sales is one which MacArtney UK’s Managing Director, Phil Middleton anticipates will increase client awareness of MacArtney’s capabilities and ultimately boost sales.

Sparrows Group Secures Five-Year US Deal With Major Operator
Sparrows Group (Sparrows), the engineering and maintenance services specialist for the global energy and industrial sectors, has secured a new five-year contract with a major oil and gas operator to deliver crane services for seven of its onshore and offshore assets in North America, accelerating the business’ growth trajectory in the US.
The seven-figure deal will see Sparrows’ Houston team deliver crane inspection, maintenance, testing and repair services at two onshore facilities and a platform in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the contract encompasses an onshore processing facility project and three offshore assets in California. The company will deliver services across a wide range of crane types including pedestal, kingpost, mobile, overhead, davit, monorail, and gantry cranes.
The project marks another milestone on Sparrows’ long history with the operator, which saw the company most recently deliver a rental crane to support the operator’s three-year decommissioning operation in the Gulf of Mexico.

Impact Subsea Strengthens Sales Team
Leading ROV & AUV sensor manufacturer, Impact Subsea, is pleased to announce the strengthening of its sales team.
Asser Awaad has joined the team as Technical Sales Engineer and will be working with the company’s new and existing clients.
Asser will work to increase technical awareness of the Impact Subsea range of sensors within the underwater ROV & AUV markets. Based at the Impact Subsea headquarters in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Asser will play a key role in the company’s sales activities.
Prior to joining Impact Subsea, Asser has gained significant industry experience having previously held roles of Survey Engineer and also ROV Senior pilot.
Commenting on the appointment, Asser Awaad stated “I’m excited to join the passionate and creative team here at Impact Subsea. I look forward to getting to know our clients and contributing to the success of their projects”.
