Will Farmer is our antiques & collectors expert, he is well known for his resident work on the Antiques Roadshow, he has also written for the popular ‘Miller’s Antique Guide’. The Danish style now dominates the world of interior design with the global demand for vintage Danish furniture growing beyond all recognition. The clean lines, elegant forms and timeless designs have become the must have statement for a modern interior scheme.


With the increased demand, prices have risen and the designs are now proving to be a valuable investment, eclisping the once traditional pieces from the Georgian and Victorian eras. Much value can be attributed not only to the beauty and timeless nature of these designs, but also their unique manufacturing process. The quality of the materials and levels of craftsmanship add to the appeal of these new 20th century ‘antiques’. As a result, excellent examples of vintage Danish modern furniture are still available in usable condition.
