Allianz glazing replacement case study Background
Early in 2021, PTSG Building Access Solutions Ltd completed a project for Allianz Insurance at its head office in Guildford, Surrey. The agreement was with main contractor CBRE.
Allianz Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and part of the Allianz Group. The company employs over 4,200 people across a network of UK offices. The company’s head office in Guildford is supported by additional services in Trivandrum, India.
Allianz Insurance offers commercial insurance with a full range of products for sole traders, right up to large commercial organisations. Customers can also take out musical insurance, legal expenses insurance and pet and equine insurance.
Scope of work
PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd was mobilised to attend the head office of Allianz Insurance in Guildford to undertake a glazing replacement project in January 2021.
Working under the famous blue company logo, PTSG’s engineers used a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) to access windows in all areas of the building complex, which is arranged in three elevations with a paved area to the rear.
Outcome
The project was completed quickly and to the high quality that customers expect of PTSG. Allianz was extremely satisfied with the result and it is hoped that the two organisations will work together again.
