Festivals & Regattas 2021
Dart Music Festival – May 7, 8 & 9 With more than 100 performers spread across 20 venues over three days the Dart Music Festival attracts artists and audiences from across the country. Music of all genres can be heard in every street with soloists and groups playing all around the town in pubs, on the Bandstand, in the Guildhall and at the historic Bayards Cove Fort.

Dartmouth Royal Regatta – August 26, 27 & 28 The biggest of the town’s many events which has been running for 175 years attracting thousands of visitors for a wide range of events on and off the water. With rowing races, crabbing and pavement art competitions the town is buzzing with life. Live music, a funfair and market stalls fill the town’s embankment with lots for all the family to enjoy. Enter the popular ‘Spot the Oddity’ competition and join the crowds in marvelling at the spectacular Saturday fireworks display.

Dartmouth Food Festival – October 22, 23 & 24 A ‘must do’ for foodies. The festival started in 2002 as a few stalls and has now grown into a major event with demonstrations from some of the country’s top chefs. Described in The Telegraph as a ‘heady mix of celebrity chefs, parties, food markets…and tasting shacks’ it attracts visitors from all over the country.

Local festivals were hugely disrupted in 2020 because of the Covid pandemic with many being cancelled. This disruption continues into 2021.
