Priyanka has a career that has spanned both Hollywood and Bollywood for almost 20 years and is also an ambassador for UNICEF. The former Miss World now looks set to earn her first Oscar nomination for her role in brand-new Netflix movie ‘The White Tiger’.


Priyanka plays Pinky Madam in the film, which is directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Rahmin Bahrani and is based on the popular 2008 novel of the same name. ‘The White Tiger’ stars Adarsh Gourav in his first lead role as Balram Halwai, a driver for a wealthy businessman, played by Rajkummar Rao.


He is ridiculed by his employers for his underprivileged background and is forced to take the fall for a crime he didn’t commit, after which he becomes a successful entrepreneur. Priyanka’s character, a first-generation immigrant in the US, is married to Rao’s character Ashok.
