Welcome to the February edition of Live 24-Seven. Well that wasn’t quite the start to the new year we were hoping for but hopefully you have all managed to get through January as best you can. I know the ‘dry January’ resolutions didn’t last too long in our household – a little glass of wine certainly makes life seem a little brighter.

So what does February have in store for us? Well Valentine’s Day of course. To get you in the mood for love and get Cupid’s arrows flying we have a look at some gorgeous lingerie in our fashion section this month, including some fabulous new designs from our very own fashion writer Julia Suzuki. Simply beautiful.
We put the spotlight on local jeweller Anja Potze this month and as every girl knows, you can never go wrong with jewellery. To help gift hunters struggling for the perfect present this year, they are even offering both a click and collect service as well as deliveries.

Restaurants are sadly still not open this year which means a romantic dinner for two in your favourite eatery is out of the question. Many of them are doing takeaways so if your local is offering this service it’s a great idea to try to support them. Alternatively, why not cook a fabulous meal at home? If you are looking for inspiration, this month we have recipes for a delicious two course meal and a cocktail – what more could you ask for? Just light the candles and enjoy.
Hopefully by March, life will be looking a little easier for us all. Let’s hope so. Stay safe, stay at home if you can and see you next month.
