ASCA 2021 to Deliver Enhanced Virtual Experience Add this must-not-miss spring event to your calendar BY ROBERT KURTZ


F


or the second consecutive year, ASCA's annual conference will


be a virtual event. While the COVID- 19 pandemic will keep everyone physically apart again, ASCA is tak- ing what it learned from hosting the 2020 Virtual Conference & Expo online to deliver an improved experi- ence for attendees. The three-day event will happen


live over three consecutive Mondays: April 26, May 3, and May 10, 2021. In response to attendee feedback, sessions will begin at 11:00 am ET and end around 4:00 pm ET. These shorter conference days, compared to last year's meeting, are intended to encourage greater participation and engagement by giving attendees the ability to attend more live sessions


while still getting in most of their work day.


Sessions will include many of the same features that make the annual conference

for the ASC community. Top notch industry-leading speakers will pres- ent dozens of informative educa- tional sessions that will cover essen- tial business, financial, clinical and regulatory topics of interest and importance for ASC professionals at every level and position. Live inter- active breakout sessions will permit attendees to ask their questions in real time.


ASCA will continue to offer its


popular advanced sessions. These sessions are carefully selected to provide ASC professionals with a strong understanding of the basics


with information and guidance that will help them take their skills and performance to an even higher level. As with last year's conference, recordings of the sessions will be available for viewing after the event. Attendees can earn continuing edu- cation credits by joining sessions as they are broadcast live or by watch- ing recordings on demand. There are plenty of other reasons to
