Bookworm Wednesdays Ages 2-5
Come to the nature center and listen to an exciting nature-themed story! Each meeting will feature a different book and simple craft and will include a short hike outside, so dress for the weather. Each registered child will receive a plush reading buddy to take home at the end of each session. Adults must attend with their child but do not need to register
Chill with Me Ages 2-5
Join us at Red Oak where you and your early learner will discover how “cool” winter can be! Each meeting will have you discovering a special part of winter from how animals survive to how snow is made and more. Dress to go outside each meeting. Adults do not need to register but must accompany their child.
Frosty Fest All ages
Just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate winter! Families are welcome to join us at Red Oak for Frosty Fest where you can go for a snowman scavenger hunt on our snowflake trail, build your own Frosty friend, and enjoy seasonal snacks while warming up by the fire. Everyone attending must purchase a ticket for entry. This is a ticketed event.

Makerspace At Home Challenge Ages 5+
Makerspace is coming into your home with our monthly challenges! Kits will be available to pick up on Friday, and registrants will get one week to design, create, and complete their projects before submitting photos or videos evidence of their final masterpieces! All projects can be done as a family or individually. Submissions and questions should be emailed

Kid’s Night Out! Ages 5-11
Drop your kids off at Red Oak for an evening of activities, dinner, and a movie while you enjoy some adult time. Participants will be served a pizza dinner, play games or go on a hike, and then settle in for a movie and popcorn! Participants may be picked up at any time during the program.
The Wild Ones Social Club Ages 11-14
Hike, survive, play, do, socialize. This club meets twice a month with each get- together filled with different seasonal activities while also allowing your maturing child to socialize with other like- minded youth. Registration is for a season and meets every second and fourth Saturday.
