FINE ARTIST GLENN BADHAM TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE
Fine artist Glenn Badham brings his fifth solo exhibition to a Warwickshire gallery this month.
In addition to preparing for this exhibition, Glenn has been delighted to have four additional landscape pieces selected for inclusion in open submission competitions during lockdown - Ty Pawb, Welsh Open exhibition, (until December 23), Grey cube Galleries Landscape (Honourable Mention award), inclusion in the inaugural edition of Flea Circus Magazine and Gaada’s online art exhibition and E-zine.

In August he was also selected for and took part for the Wildcard section of popular TV show, Sky Landscape Artist of the Year, painting on location at West Wickham Estate. This should be screened in January next year.
The exhibition will be showing at Rugby Museum and Art Gallery until November 13.
Professional artist Glenn Badham may be landlocked in real life but his latest work is a stunning collection of seascapes.
Currently on show at Rugby Museum and Art Gallery, his colourful creations are the culmination of two years’ work under the title of ‘Our English Coast’.
This exhibition of 35 oil paintings aims to celebrate the majesty of our country’s wonderful coastlines and bring a little of that magic to the heart of the country.
The paintings originate from impulsive ink sketches made whilst holidaying at Mortehoe, Combe Martin, Combesgate Beach, Valley of the Rocks and Woolacombe Bay.
Glenn explained: ‘What began as a cathartic exercise, making those sketches into vibrant large-scale oil paintings, became pure escapism as finishing, framing and delivering a real world exhibition became a much needed focus and catalyst over the spring and summer of 2020.’
