Incentive payments available to help hiring of new apprentices
Extra funding is available as part of the government’s employment support scheme for both training and apprenticeships in response to the unprecedented times. Businesses are being offered
£2,000 for each new apprentice they hire under the age of 25 starting employment between 1 August 2020 and 31 January 2021. This is in addition to the existing
£1,000 payment the government already provides for new 16-18- year-old apprentices and those
aged under 25 with an education, health and care plan. For apprentices aged 25 and over, you can receive £1,500 in total. You get the payment in two equal
for each new apprentice under the age of 25

for each new apprentice over the age of 25
instalments, after the apprentices completes 90 and 365 days of their apprenticeship. You can spend the payment on
anything to support your organisation’s costs, from facilities and travel to uniforms and salaries. For more information visit:

Security course for HGV/LGV drivers that has been approved and endorsed by NaVCIS as the unit responsible for coordinating the policing of freight theft in the UK. Upon passing the CPD accredited course, drivers can evidence they are fit, safe and competent to be entrusted with all types of freight with a certification to prove it. The course is designed to
prevent the common mistakes that can sometimes result in harm or loss; it is completed online. This is not a BIFA course, being
provided by NaVCIS approved supplier Antevorte –
